
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is teaming up with Employment Solutions to host two exclusive career information sessions for those interested in pursuing a career as a Police Officer or Special Constable.
The sessions will take place on March 26, 2026, and April 1, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Employment Solutions, located at 477 Queen Street East.
This free recruitment event is open to 16 participants per session, who must pre-register to secure their spot. Attendees must meet specific requirements, including being a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, at least 18 years old, and able to pass a basic background check to qualify for a potential career as a Police Officer or Special Constable with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.
Sergeant Derek MacFarlane, who leads the Uniform Recruitment team, will deliver a short presentation and provide valuable insights into the recruitment process. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about careers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.
To further support potential applicants, Employment Solutions offers résumé and application assistance to registered clients, ensuring that participants are prepared to succeed.
